And now my oldest turned 16 today. Where did that time go? I was right here the whole time...

She was just a little baby!

Good embarrassing story too-- on the day we took her home from the hospital we had to stop by the drug store (C-section, mama needed meds) so picture me standing sorely in Rite Aid with my three day old daughter as proud as I could be. Looking back I imagine there was probably a beam of light shining on us. A couple of older people gathered around us to admire S in all of her sweetness. The admirers are all leaning in, soaking up that wonderful new "babyness". I'm still beaming, just soaking up all of that deserved attention when she shows her true sense of humor and farts as loudly as she pleases.

LOL! 16! 1|1|Vanessa, Happy Birthday to your DD :) Time flies when you have kids. My "baby" is going to be thirty this year.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|14:40:10|06/12/2010|

I love babies and I agree that newborn babies and their momma's have a beam of light shining on them.

Life is like a cup of tea,
It's all in how you make it.
