Every now and then I think of this project that I participated in for a trader's child school project...I thought and still think this was one of the GREATEST projects ever....and would love to know what the outcome was???? Approximately how many people ended up participating in it? Was a grade ever assigned for the project? Were the students fascinated in the entries, etc....

Second question, I would LOOOVE to do something similar for my little girl and would love to know if anyone would be interested in participating????

Thank you all so much! 1|1|That was a neat project! I remember that, but gosh, wasnt that like YEARS ago?? I think my boys were still in grade school when we did that......it was a Flat Stanley and the notebook was to journal his travels :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|08:15:04|06/08/2010|

I normally include something about our local (PA Dutch) area that kids from other states seem to enjoy. I think the only issue is to be sure (if it were for a grade) to send it only to people that you trust will send it to the next person.

Would make a great Summer project if your child was not assigned... I know the classes mark each town on a huge map in their classroom to see where each journal traveled, so you could have a map for just your own child :) 3|3|This was shortly after Nick did his which I have here on my desk dated 4/19/04 lol I even still have "flat Stamley" lol lol and he is still as flat as ever lol lol|teener|teenerzacsneenee@yahoo.com|08:35:44|06/08/2010|

get a grade.......she ended up with most entrys that the journal actually traveled.........some of the kiddos had people just write a page and sent it to them...and they put it in their notebook.........and i guess the teacher wasnt too happy about that....LOL

the kids in her class all got to look at each others...and read them...and learn about stuff in different places...ect...it was a really neat project...
