So tragic for that community. :( Wasn't just OH that got hit, however, cuz news also showed tornado touchdowns in northern parts of IA, IL & IN. I think OH got the worst of it tho.
I know the weather was nuts here yesterday - rain in the morning, then sun, then rain again w/t-storms, more sun & by mid-afternoon, it clouded over again & bam! We got dime sized hail & along w/wind that seemed like it came whipping around the front of my house out of no where. Blew my chairs clear off the deck. LOL Cooled off & the sun came out again but by suppertime, we got another good downpour. Sheesh! I was getting annoyed having to keep opening & shutting my windows. LOL Then fog rolled in last night & just finally lifted a couple hrs. ago.
Crazy!

3|1|We had a tornado touch down 35 mile due south of us at Cabela's and Spash Untiverse. Also did damage to Fermi nuclear plant. We had a tornado warning for most of the night. That was one of the bigger storm cells I have ever seen.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|11:42:57|06/07/2010|

Damage to many states and the storm was slow to putter out.

damage was done in Peru IN where I was born/raised. Yesterday was nice and sunny but today already clouding up and more storms to move in. Weather is crazy and getting weirder all the time. When I was a kid you rarely heard of tornadoes happening but seems to be the 'norm' in spring/summer any more. Weather is definately changing and not for the good these days.
Good thing is, looked out the window early this a.m. and there was a HUGE double rainbow spanning the fields...soooo pretty!! God gave us a beautiful sight to see this morning versus nasty day ahead of us here. Calling for possible severe later on as well. Sure hope not. Stay safe everyone and God Bless!
