Brought him in for his annual checkup and was expecting the usual "He looks good and he's so handsome" but no. Vet felt a mass in his stomach. Xrays showed that there is indeed something in there, but they have no idea what. So, tomorrow he's having an ultrasound.
I'm so sad and worried. That's my fur baby. I've had him since he was about 3 weeks old, weighing 1/2 a pound shivering in the dumpster at Blockbuster. He grew up to be 17 pounds, but today he weighed in at 14 which isn't good.
So, if you are a fur baby lover, please send some thoughts for a speedy recovery to Giovanni Luigi!

It's so quiet around here without him "talking" to us constantly!!!
All I want to do is bring him home with a clean bill of health, snuggle on the recliner watching tv while he purrs for hours. That's our usual "thing" to do at night and I missed it last night.
