It's like I'm being tested so much this past week with all going on and now the air conditioner has decided to take a crap :( It's so damn hot here in the 90's and the humidity is icky. We've got the fans going but it's still pretty darn warm. I am hoping they have it fixed soon, it may be tommorrow or sometime next week, it all depends on what's wrong with it. UGH! What a time to break down. Sorry just had to rant :(

we spend over $6,000.00 on this top of the line heating/cooling sysytem in 12 /09. Mine went kaput last year so I had to get a new unit. It was at the end of summer & wouldn't ya know it, then it didn't get really hot or humid after I got the new one. But I'm glad I have the new one so shouldn't have to worry for a few yrs. (got a 5 yr. warranty on it).
If you can get ahold of a dehumidifier somehow (even a table top one) & run that, it will at least get rid of the humidity so it'll be a little bit more bearable. Several yrs. ago, I didn't have an a/c but had a dehumidifier in my basement. I'd plug that in, leave the basement door open & close the windows & it actually helped. ;)
