I dont' have a bipolor child but know people who do. Best thing you can do is get a 'definitive' diagnoses on her and get her started with treatment for the diagnosis with a specialist in that area. Your doctor can recommend someone and/or use the internet to find a good specialist in your area etc. and get a referrel from your physician to get her into that specialist. Once you have that diagnosis, you can get a LOT of help for her and help with financial needs etc but need a Dr. to give a specific diagnosis..not something vague for example like "broad spectrum Autism" for example. Need a 'specific' diagnosis..for example ..like "Asperger's syndrome". Not saying that is what your daughter has..just using it as a example. Please email me if you need more info for help etc. Happy to help if I can.
