Especially the one time it asked what "other snacks" were served and I felt badly that I would get the hostess in trouble. There was one that I joined and there was no activity from the hostess... as in nothing was done and not receiving so I don't know if that person held an actual party with friends in real life? Or just kept the stuff for personal use? That one I was honest on the survey. 4|3|Yeah, some of the questions are harder to answer for an online party....but if I get stumped, I just put N/A or something just to be able to progress on the survey. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|16:50:11|05/25/2010|

I figure if it is a online party and the hostess did drawings and sent out some of the items that were meant for the guests then I answer the questions as if I was at the actualy party and check that I tried the items and that we had snacks and stuff like that. But if a person does a online party and doesn't share some of the goodies with her online guests then I answer as if it wasn't that good of a party. I don't want anyone to be turned down for any of the hosting opportunites but I feel if you are having an online party then you should share some of the goodies with the people who rsvp'd since we are the ones making your party look good with attendance. I don't expect anyone to mail out all 10 or 15 of the guests goodies because that would be a lot of postage for the hostess but to do 2, 3, or 4 giveaways depending on the items and the cost of the postage seems fair to me. I'am doing the hasbro party in a couple of weeks but I will be doing the actual party at my house and then the online party also. I know that at least one of the games I will be getting is for one of my guests. Now because of postage cost I won't be raffling one of those off to my online guests but I will be sharing the coupons and any samples or other items they send to me with you guys. I know I get boxes of snack crackers but not sure if the coupons are for the crackers or coupons on the board games. But you never know I may chance my mind and raffle off one of the games to you guys, just depends on the game and the weight of the box. 6|5|I disagree with one point...if the party pack comes with let's say, enough for 15 guests, I dont think giving only 2 or 3 prizes away to your online guests is acceptable....I would think at least 2/3's of the goodies that come in multiples (intended for the guests) should be shared with the online guests. That still leaves plenty for the hostess to have for herself. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:08:37|05/27/2010|

can be anywhere between $2 and $4 roughly and if you sent that out to 2/3's of the guests that can be costly that is why I said between 2 and 4. But it depends on the goodies that you are sending, if it is just coupons then that is different but when there are bigger items especially those shopping bags it can get expensive. Also it depends on what state the person lives in. I understand that the hostess is getting alot of great stuff but if she does a home party and a online party it can be costly with her providing the drinks and sometimes the supplies because each party pack comes with different items. I know mine will have games, candy and snack crackers but I will be providing the drinks, paper products and the cheese to go with the crackers so it can add up. But everyone has their own opinion on what they think is fair. Plus when I did the white cloud party I was going to do three raffels but only 4 people entered the first one out of 12 online guests so the second drawing I just drew two names and only 3 people entered that one and they were the same 3 who entered the first one. 8|7|Honestly, I was never sure what to do about the after party surveys they wanted us to send to the people who came. |jen_ron|bugsmamma@earthlink.net|20:45:59|05/27/2010|

I have wondered if I should forward that along to those who were apart of my online party, but I didnt know if we should do that or not. I try to make sure that almost everyone, if not everyone, gets something from the party pack. I answer the surveys that they send me but never was sure about sending along the end of party survey for my guests.

9|7|Then perhaps it would be better to not have an online party.....I agree it would depend on the items sent to share, but there is a list of the party pack available when you apply for the party, so if the items are heavy/bulky, etc plan to make that one an at-home party if you are accepted. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|21:00:53|05/27/2010|

ETA: I dont think it's right that someone would send invites to online friends just to boost their attendance list, and the online party-goers arent involved in the party or dont share in the items intended for the guests. This is where I will be honest about not recieving anything to try that was part of the party pack. Or if I dont recieve something myself, as long as I see that the hostess is involving the online guests with games and drawings for goodies, then that is acceptable as well. But for the hostess to have a bunch of guests RSVP so it looks like a big party, and then just hoard it all for themselves, that isnt right....and I think Houseparty would agree.
