can I use hershey kisses in a recipe instead of chocolate chips with the same results? 1|1|Are they going in whole or are you melting them? I would say yes to melting them (you may need to add a tablespoon of oil to them to keep them smooth and glossy), but if you are going to bake with them, I think it would depend on what youre making.....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|12:21:56|05/21/2010|

if you want to use them in cookies or bar cookies, I'd whack them a few times with a mallet or something to break them up a bit....so they're like chocolate chunks :)
