I am so pissed off right now. Will went to the vet to pick up the single dose of Frontline Plus for our doggies today. Well the idiots mixed up the doses and the dogs got the wrong ones. They told us it shouldn't hurt the smaller dog, but if we wanted to we can give him a bath. I am hoping he will be okay, cause I really can't afford a vet bill right now, especially since it was their fault. IDIOTS!!! I know mistakes happen, but it just upsets me to no end. Cheyenne is upset cause it's her puppy dog and she's so afraid something bad is gonna happen to him, we've tried to reassure her, but she wants to keep an eye on him all night. The vet said call back in two weeks and they will see if they can give us the right doses. Ummmm no way, they are gonna give us the correct doses, I don't have the money to toss around because of their mistake. So they better give us the correct ones, or I am gonna be really pissed. Sabrina got the smaller dose, so we don't have to worry about her, but Sundance is the one cause he was suppose to get the 23 to 44lb dose and he got Sabrina's which was the 89 to 132lbs dose. That's like triple his dose, I did read online that they can have as much as 5 times their usual dose and it shouldn't hurt him, but it's just the thought of it all. Will told them when he was there to make sure they mark the package right and of course they put the wrong names on each tube :( I called them before he got there and placed the order and told them to make sure and the lady even said she doubled checked, well she needs glasses cause she got them wrong. Sorry don't mean to sound so vicious, I'm just so tired of getting the crappy end of the stick and am worried about Sundance. I know he's only a dog to some, but he's more than that to us, he's family. Please say a prayer he will be okay. Thanks for letting me scream!!!!!!!

Vent away! That was so wrong. I hope Sundance suffers no ill effects from the wrong dose and the vet simply replaces it with what they should have given you the first time and offers you some sort of a credit as a gesture of apology. Hugs. V

Bekka I wrote you on facebook but matt uses that active ingredient at work all the time. They make it so you use the lowest possible dose and yet it remains effective. Should be no problem for your puppy at all.

If anything happened to my male cat, Skooter, I would sue them for neglegence--but luckily I have a wonderful caring Vet, Dr. Kaylay--shes is wonderful with pets of all kinds.
