My hubs aunt has been in bad shape for awhile now.....she has alzhimzers(spelling wrong)......then she recently had a stroke......
her daughter drove her to nursing home...signed papers and drove away...and had not been back to see her....... shes probably been there 2 months now
she passed away today........the daughter sat in the hallway.......and had her kid stand in the door...and wouldnt let anyone in the room........so she died alone....
now she says......she wants none of the family at the funeral......
i have never met this person......but she sounds like a winner......
how could anyone do such to their mom.....her mom was such a sweet lady......when my mother in law had cancer....she was there every day to see if there was anything
she could do.....
Im so glad we dont live around any of them.......

5|1|That is incredibly sad, and as a nursing home nurse for 16 yrs, I've seen so much of this kind of thing....there is nothing, and I mean nothing sadder than someone dying alone, and many, many times it is the nurses or aides holding that person's hand as they take their last breath....I consider it a great honor to be with them....I agree with Lisa, there's a special place for people like your hubby aunt.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|21:02:05|05/16/2010|

Oh poo, now I'm crying thinking of her lying in that room alone....I am so, so sorry that her own daughter denied her the comfort of having her family with her when her time came. Heartbreaking...
Geez, I must be affected by this...meant to say there's a special place for the aunt's daughter...sorry about that!

even been blessed with a phone call from one of them.......right before me and my hub got married.....telling me a bunch of lies....ect...about
how bad my FIL and MIL was.......and he wanted me to know what kinda family i was marring into......ect.........and over time i learned he was telling
off on himself...his kids......his sister,,,,ect............
i considered my MIL a saint......that just goes to show......how they tried to make everyone miserable.....
I agree theres a special place for people like the daughter.......and i hope the gates are open wide when her time comes.........
