Let's say I break into your house
A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!!!
It explains things better than all the baloney you hear on TV.
Her point:
Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests.
Let's say I break into your house.
Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.
But I say, 'No! I like it here. It's better than my house. I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house) .
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family
My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hard-working and honest. (except for that breaking in part).
If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my RIGHT to be there.
It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working and honest, person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house
And what a deal it is for me!!!
I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold, uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and bigoted behavior.
Oh yeah, and I DEMAND that you learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so that you can communicate with me.
Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?!
America is populated and governed by idiots.
If you agree, pass it on ( in English).
If not blow it off.........

1. illegal means ILLEGAL
2. Those who are in such protest of this, should pack up their families and go live in Arizona on the boarder and experience this behavior on an everyday basis.....I bet they might sing a different tune....it's really easy to claim how unfair it is, when they are not the ones experiencing the increased violence, burglery, etc....
This is insane and I truly am looking forward to this November...I'm just disgusted!

How dare we do this to Mexico--the UN should issue sanctions against US
Boo-hoo? Cry me a Rio Grande. Colorado, Utah, Idaho, etc....... need to
follow Arizona?s lead and put a stop to illegal aliens leeching off its
citizens. Heck, the money saved could fix the capitol building and
balance the state?s budget.
This is very interesting and if Arizona can do it, why can't the rest of

The shoe is on the other foot and the Mexicans from the State of Sonora,
Mexico don't like it. Can you believe these people? It's almost funny.
The State of Sonora is angry at the influx of Mexicans into Mexico. Nine
state legislators from the Mexican State of Sonora traveled to Tucson to
complain about Arizona 's new employer crackdown on illegals from Mexico.
It seems that many Mexican illegals are returning to their hometowns and
the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off. A
delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on
Tuesday to state that Arizona's new Employer Sanctions Law will have a
devastating effect on the Mexican state. At a news conference, the
legislators said that Sonora, Arizona's southern neighbor made up of
mostly small towns, cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and
schools that it will face as Mexican workers return to their hometowns
from the USA without jobs or money.
The Arizona law, which took effect Jan. 1, punishes Arizona employers
who knowingly hire individuals without valid legal documents to work in
the United States. Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their
business license.
The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are
returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on THEIR state
government. ?How can Arizona pass a law like this,? asked Mexican Rep
Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales. ?There is not one person
living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in
Arizona,? she said, speaking in Spanish. ?Mexico is not prepared for
this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more and more Mexicans
working in Arizona, and who were sending money to their families, return
to their home-towns in Sonora without jobs,? she said. ?'We are one
family, socially and economically,? she said of the people of Sonora and
Arizona .
WRONG!
The United States is a sovereign nation, not a subsidiary of Mexico, and
its taxpayers are not responsible for the welfare of Mexico 's citizens.
Why does Mexico think it can out-source it's welfare problems to OUR
taxpayers? It's time for the Mexican government, and its citizens, to
stop feeding parasitically off the United States and to start taking
care of their own needs.
Maybe that's the answer, since our own Congress will do nothing!

In this area, we had 1 major plant hiring mostly Mexican's, they had worked there for almost 2 years when the IRS noticed that something was funny with the SS numbers. Funny 36 people all had the same SS number but the employee didn't catch it. Give me a break, this plant is well known for hiring anyone but citizens of the USA. The plant even though it has been sanctioned many times is still 85% Mexican & I'll guarantee you that if they hire 3 citizens & 3 Mexican's in 89 days, just before the insurance kicks in, the 3 citizen's will be let go.My brother in law's ex-wife has been here for over 30 years on a green card but she has never paid taxes & their son was offered college for free because she is not a citizen. He declined as he wasn't interested but it just doesn't make sense. We have a huge apple orchard in this area that is manned from sept. to end of picking season with all Mexican's the gov. built 5 condo like apartment buildings for them. Man were they nice, not now, sorry to say & of course our taxes paid for it, the kids attend the schools here & the school had to hire a special teacher who could speak the language, what a crock. It really aggravates me when you make a phone call & the recording says if you speak English hit 1, why English? isn't this our language, shouldn't it say if you speak Mexican push 1????
