Hey everyone...am getting ready for my annual yard sale this coming weekend, and while i am comfortable with many of my prices...just need opinions on some stuff...
good razors...fusion, intuition, schick titanium etc...4.00?
wisk detergent...paid .99 a bottle, thinking 2.00 a bottle or 12.00 a case 2.50 a bottle....
ajax/fab etc... 1.50 a bottle?
shave gel 1.00 each?
cereal...all full size. 1.75 3/5.00
capri sun 1.50 or 4/5.00?
new england coffee....2.50 each or 3/6.00?
crystal light 1.50 or 4/5.00
lysol wipes/7th gen wipes 1.50 or 4/5.00
pretzels 1.50 or 4/5.00?
hefty cinch sak 2.00 box? 5.00 size
pampers or huggies baby wipes 1.50 or 4/5.00? will stay at 1.50....
mighty dog 6/2.00? 12 for 3.50 case of 24 for 5.00?
marcal tp single rolls 12 for 3.00? going 4/1.00-great idea...
new questions....
spray cleaners, lysol 12 oz etc... 1.50 each 4/5.00 mix and match??

copy paper...500 sheet 2.00 each? have 10 reams or so from free staples deals...

If you have extra's on the wipes & Mighty dog remember me. Man wish I could get my hands on detergent for that price. Why don't you live closer so I could buy it all? LOL

mighty dog 6/2.00? 12 for 3.50 case of 24 for 5.00? I have 238 cans of these myself and went back and forth on prices. Safeway sells the 24 pack case for almost $16 and single cans for .69. I know I can't find canned catfood without coupons for less than .50 a can, so I think they will sell very well at 3/$1. I'm going to hold firm at that and see what happens. I think I can easily sell whatever is left on craiglist as a lot. I have mine in cat food boxes at 24 cans each box and will sell those 24 packs for $8. If they do not seem to sell I may knock $1 off on the 24 packs, but I really doubt I will need to.
marcal tp single rolls 12 for 3.00? I would price 4/$1. Use psychology. Most will buy multiples and people will think wow 4/$1. They see $3 TP sometimes, but never quarter TP.
Another thing I have done in the past is sell many things for $1 each and I used to sell 6/$5. I am not doing that this sale but am doing 11/$10. My thought is that most of my people easily spend $5, many spend at least 10 but I want all of them to spend at least 10. My sale is just a one day sale and I am doing it on the 21st (Friday). HTH

*dryer sheets boxes
*toothbrushes
*Capri Sun (on sale for $2, paid $1, paid $.10 per coupon) Does these sell well?

As usual, i had too much stuff....as usual, i brought stuff home, but i had my best day ever...we had perfect weather, lots of people coming and going from the shore......At one point, it looked like less than last year...but i had some insane shoppers come in after 2 pm....I am so insanely sunburned, and am totally exhausted.....
prices i ended up with
1.50 ajax etc(had .29 invested)
2.00 for wisk...did sell 3 cases at end of day for 10.00 a case....1.09 invested in each bottle...still brought home some cases
copy paper 2.00 each...all free from staples...still had 1 of a full case left
toilet paper...all sold at 4/1.00 again..great price idea
viva...1 full long rubbermaid tote 1.00 each...think i was paid to buy these over time
cereal 3/5.00 sold 1/2 my stock(had 50 boxes or so)
bandaids/deo 1.00 each or 6/5.00 did not sell out of band aids suprisingly...normally do every year
ziploc bags/hefty plates/marcal napkins and snuggle sheet s i went 4/5.00(or 1.50 each) still have some snuggle and some ziplocsold out of plates and napkins
hellmanns 2.00 a qt... pd less than that for each 6 with coupon price included
pampers wipes I had 70 or so....sold em for 1.50 each or 4/5.00 last customer bought 75.00 worth of wipes....
huggies clean team wipes 1.25 each still have 2 full cases of the 6 i took left
pantene 3/5.00 had 6 crates...still have 3 1/2
infusium same price had 1 crate still have 1/2
perfume gift sets 90 % cvs ones sold most at 5.00 each
lots of small 6 pk coolers(soft sided) at 3.00 each
there was more, but i am exhausted, and off to bed as soon as i check on the dogs.....Have a great night...Jodie
btw...at one point i looked up and had 15 people ready to "check out" thankfully my niece and nephews were there helping...they are awesome bag girl and boys....they love the tips....
