I am limited to a sink and shower (no shower head on a house)for cleaning options.
The items are in great shape. The Pack N Play also has the baby bed & changing station. Very nice...
But, there is milk on the bottom of the pad. I am leary of getting it soaking wet since it seems to have a wood base under the fabric... I also want to clean the whole item but am not sure how since it is soooo big? Would Lysol wipes work? Or something like that? The car seat all comes apart, so no cleaning issues there.

Graco recommends using damp sponge and hand or dish soap, not anything else to wipe them clean. Hope that helps! Please consider subscribing to the CPSC so you get recall alerts... and be sure to read about drop down side cribs too in case you were planning to get one.

this may sound funny, but car seats expire 4 years from the manufacture date. the plastic expande making the straps unsafe. 6|2|Humm that baby the seat was bought for is now almost 4. Are you on Twitter? If you aren't, you should be. Lots of bloggers have stuff to giveaway and they promote the giveaways on Twitter. what you can do is go to Twitter.com and search for baby giveaway and you'll find all kinds of stuff. You should also join so you can follow people who give this stuff away frequently ;) I recommend Hootsuite or another Twitter client app b/c when you start following a bunch of people, things get crazy and it is easier to keep track of people if you keep them in lists.

as for cleaning the pack and play i would go over it by hand with a natural cleaner and let it air dry perferable in a hot sun for 4 hours or more ,if you know the people it came from and there clean people,i would think its o.k.,its so nice to get hand me downs as babys really dont out use there stuff!!!i alwasy had 2 car seats cuze were lazy it gets a pain in the but to move carseats from hubbys car to mine .hope this helps teri 10|1|I googled it..most articles say 6 yrs from date of manufacture...|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|09:13:04|05/05/2010|
provided you know that it has not been in a crash...you know the people you got it from and it was maintained per manuf. directions...it's not recalled...etc. But most articles still recommend you buy new.
