8 0|0|Questions about shipping when doing an auction??|bikermomofboys|allibaker@comcast.net|11:17:15|04/29/2010|

I'm thinking about doing a box for auction but have some questions about shipping? If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. I got a Medium Flat Rate Box from the post office. I believe that shipping is $10.70 no matter where it goes. I'm assuming that it is a good idea to get insurance on the package. How much, roughly, does insurance cost? Is delivery confirmation included? Thank you.

Thank you

I believe it is usually based on the value, not a set price. Youcan check USPS.com|RobinsCrazyWorld|robinmarie72@gmail.com|11:26:33|04/29/2010|

Thank you for letting me know. I went to the post office site and it said that insurance was available, but didn't give any clues as to how much it was.

I normally don't insure the boxes---but I would include DC on an auction box. After all, you can print it from home or office and actually get it shipped for less than the 10.70 WITH Dc included.

HTH 4|2|I didn't realize that it is cheaper to print at home. I didn't realize that the post office will accept the packages already stamped. You just drop it off at the post office? Thanks for all of your answers. I appreciate your help.|bikermomofboys|allibaker@comcast.net|14:08:39|04/29/2010|

6|2|Really? I thought DC was free from home. I know i am able to track my packages when I ship from home. I just make sure to use the option that emails you updates.|RobinsCrazyWorld|robinmarie72@gmail.com|14:21:58|04/29/2010|
