I have been putting all my change in a piggy bank for the baby. I also put all the one dollar bills in a tin. I do this every time I have change. It seems that I have no cash most of the time. The other day I had to charge $.69 lol ... Today $.64! LoL But look at the deals!!

You did great! One thing you may try to do is see if your Safeway will allow you to use cats on a Safeway giftcard and then you can just use the card to pay off small transactions like that. Albertsons won't let me buy gift cards with cats, but my Safeways here will.
