I really didn't think I had much of anything, I was almost embarassed to send it in....couple of old 14k chains and all. The check came in the mail the other day, and I was praying that it would be at least $5 (I would have been bummed at a $1 or $2). Imagine my surprise.....drumroll please.....when I opened the envelope and there was a check for $124 !!!!
Money being tight here, that was soooo exciting!

I was trying to remember everything I had sent in because I couldn't figure out how it could have been worth that much. I don't have a gram scale, so it wouldn't have been too accurate if I used my weight watchers ounce scale...lol. Most of it was just old broken chains, none of which were very thick....and most of the stuff was 14k.
They send you a breakdown of how much of the check is for the gold, silver, platinum, and palladium you sent in. I was surprised to see $5 attributed to platinum as I didn't know anything that I sent in had platinum.

I had a couple silver chains, old ones and a broken gold ring...I threw them away a couple weeks ago when I was cleaning out my jewelry box as I thought I wouldn't get much for them, guess I should have held on to them..
