I rarely need checks but last year I ran out.
I cut one of those check order froms from the Sunday insert filled it out, attached my stuff, wrote the check...a week later I get my order with a bill...SHOCK!!!!! They wanted an additional $65! I was P'd off and called. I wanted to know why I didn't get a phone call to even warn me that it was gonna cost me extra. I was told they don't do that & I said that was poor customer service. Seems that I ordered from them once some 20+ years ago when I was in College! So they said the "first time" offer which was what I sent in was not valid. I said I didn't want them and would send the checks back....NOT! The lady was rude and said if I sent them back they could just draft the amount out of the checking account when it was 30 days past due. How!? I mentioned I would close my checking account and she said she would report me to a collection agent. I was fit to be tied and ready to reach through the phone and wring the ladys neck. I paid the bill on day 30 just to be an @$$ about it but will NEVER order from them again. (Just looked at my checks and the company was Checks Unlimited!)
So beware...if you think you have ever ordered from any check company, read the fine print and call to find out how much it's really gonna cost ya if your not sure if you have ever ordered from them in your entire life!

2|2|That's why I just use Walmart.com now...I think I've ordered as a first-time customer from all of the check companies, lol...Walmart.com has the same low price no matter how many times you order, and you can order different design every time if you want. :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|18:38:59|04/11/2010|
