we have used the same accountants for years...the one woman is absolutely fantastic, great to deal with, but the other is a bit abrasive to put it mildly...We had our taxes done a bit later than normal this year, (late feb)....mailed our state in cause we have to due to the llc that my brothers and i have. they efiled our federal as they always do. Their new girl told me i could not efile, but our regular accountant said yes we could. She actually wrote on the envie fed accepted for ef, but mail nj due to the k1......
well our state check has been here for over a week, the federal has not been put into the checking account. I called the irs and they have NO RECORD of us filing this year. I just had to call the accounting service and unfortunately i got the abrasive one.....as ours had gone home. She copped an attitude when i told her that i wanted her to look it up, as i was ready to "kill" the new person due to the fact that we diso of this money due to Bill not working last year. She started in on me about how all their people are qualified etc...i told her i had confidence in her and our accountant but that was it as we had never had the problem prior to this year. She told me that it was cause we filed in jan, then she told me that we were too early in feb, then it went to we could not file electronically federal due to the k1....which we have done since the k1 was established....
