when I was younger I loved to get everyone, years ago my friends parents were going to come and actually bail me out of jail, my friend tried the same one on my mom, who knew there was no way she would be in jail, but her parents fell for it (guess back then maybe people assumed I was the jail type) I havent gotten anyone for years, but boy it was fun when I was younger!

The best April Fool I pulled was a few yrs. back. I'd just gotten a computer scanner so was anxious to use it. I was chatting online w/a friend of mine & her dh & we were using the microphones so could hear each other talking, laughing, etc. They'd moved to another part of the state after they married so we hadn't seen each other in quite a few yrs. They told me to try out my new scanner & send them a pic of myself. I said I hadn't changed much over the yrs. except for a few pounds I'd accumulated, & I've never liked pics of myself anyway. They kept after me to send them a pic so I finally relented & said, "ok". I told them to give me a few minutes to figure out how to get the pic to scan but that it might also take a min. or 2 cuz the only pic I had handy was an 8 X 10. They said that was fine but they were anxious to receive/see it, couldn't wait. Got the pic & had started the scan & I hear them say about the pic, "Here she comes. It's coming up. Oh, I can't wait", etc. Pretty soon I hear them hollering & roaring w/laughter, & my friend says, "Oh, you're a sneaky b*tch". I was dying here & laughing SOOO hard I couldn't see to type, couldn't even talk. What I'd done was scanned & sent them the autographed 8 X 10 pic I'd gotten of country singer Lynn Anderson just a couple yrs. earlier when she was in town for a concert. ROFL!!!
We still get a good belly laugh out of that every time we reminisce, but that's so far been the best April Fool I've pulled on someone. LOLOL

My sister-in-law was pregnant, and almost at her due date. The phone rang early in the day, and my dear brother-in-law said that it was a girl! I said, yeah, right! You aren't putting that one over on me!!! LOL He persisted and gave details of the baby's weight etc etc. Still, I didn't believe him, because we were all young at the time, and he was a real prankster! Finally he put my SiL on the phone to confirm that she had indeed had their baby. They named her Julie. She would be 40 today, if she were still alive. She died at age 6 from brain cancer:(

A couple of years ago I got everyone I worked with (about 100 people). Told them I hadnt been feelin well for a few days so I had taken a pregnancy test the night before and that it was positive. I stuck to my guns, tellin everyone that I was pregnant and when I suspected my due date was, rubbin my belly a little. Bad thing was, they all really started believing me so at the end of the day when I said April Fools, no one believed me. Took them about 3-4 monthes with me not showing before they finally believed me! LOL

Our families were not quite sure if we would really show up and go through with it or not. We started off our marriage with a lot of laughs and that has continued 16 years later. There's no fool quite like a married fool!
This morning he got me by taping down the water sprayer in the kitchen so that when I turned it on, I got soaked! He also wrapped oldest daughters laptop in saran wrap and middle daughter woke up wrapped up in newspaper. We are serious about April Fools around here!
I got him late last night. He got up and was in the bathroom. We bought a used car yesterday so after he came out of the bathroom I acted very upset. He dragged it out of me that I had just seen a preview commercial for the 11:00 news and police were looking for the same make/model of the car we just bought. I had him going for a short time!
I made cereal for middle daughter and instead of milk I used soda. She caught on before she even took one bite! Those kids learn quickly!
We'll continue with pranks throughout the day! Happy April Fools Day all!
