If you ever feel like adding another email to Joy's, I would so value learning and hearing about what you are seeing! Do you volunteer for doctors without borders or another group that works with them? I think that is so interesting...

have been in areas of shooting, bombs, no water, cold and hot conditions, sleeping on dirt floors, no showers, eating things you do not want to know what they are ;) and most of all hugged by the people you help, for security reasons, photos of natives and children in many areas are prohibited, and many cultures do not accept photos taken due to religion or cultural beliefs, so i am in their country i go by their laws and values :), but i do have some on my facebook site :) thank god for joy for me to cry and moan to in many of my stressful hardships of the journey and through my divorce think without her i would have lost it loool, any ways i am back after a long stressful 10 months and 3 countries, to be back home,, finally getting back into things here, and getting settled into our new home here in new york, which i do miss va/dc area so much, now trying to figure out what project i want to do.. i was thinking of donations of children books to africa or getting a volunteer site up for saving the bees,, anyways you can help out in this with me and put ur suggestions on what one i should do :) and i always take old used glasses and diabetes coupons for the machines those get to the poor elderly in the nursing homes, the rest go for us to use in the field so it is normally a 70 percent here to the elderly to 30 percent to the medical workers going into areas out of the country to help those in need, :)
and remember those of you who have extra birds, many nursing homes take them for their patients there, and to donate your old clothes, shoes, many toiletries and etc to nursing homes, there are many elderly who do not have family or who are forgotten :( and suffer with out many items, also do not be shamed to give your old blankets and jackets to the homeless they are really happy when they receive them :) just small things everyone can do
