my little girl got one from being on antibiotics and we just used that. even a diaper rash cream is still a fungus, so it should help! good luck 3|3|READ INSIDE|MyCat|mazashatat11@hotmail.com|00:28:41|03/31/2010|
Using antifungal cream(which you will get an rx from your doc), soaking the baby in warm water two times a day and frequent diaper changes will usually clear up a yeast infection within a few days.Applying diaper cream may bring your baby temporary relief from the itching, but does not work on many infants, and still they have the burning feeling that will make them cry as well, for they are 2 different bacterias and each cream works differently
for the meantime you can use
aloe or pressing damp chamomile teabags directly on the baby's rash, this will cool the area and help with the itching organically
also try to get some air to the bottom, let the baby sleep with no undies on
hope all goes well and you get some antifungal cream tomorrow
