I had received a census from our local school district. My children were not listed on the "pre printed" form and the directions indicated that I should hand write their information directly on the form. I mailed it in last week. Just got a phone call... she started talking about my children on the form blah blah blah; I thought she was telling me that I was not allowed to hand write them on the form.
So she says, so I need the correct birtdates for your daughters... I was like, ummm, I have two sons and marked them both on the form as male. Lady was SO RUDE... told me that the names were both girl names. I was like WHAT???? Then I realized the reason she was calling was because I listed the same birth dates for both children. I told her, they are twins, that is why they have the same birthdate and she said "so I just need to change their gender to "female" and the birthdates are correct?" and I had to repeat to her that I did not make any errors, they are both male and born on the same date.
Why do some people just have to act like they are so smart?

because they said i have my birthday wrong... I was like WHAT? I said July 12th WAS my birthday and they said, "no your birthday is July 11th." I said I am pretty sure my mom knew what day I was born. They actually told me my mother was wrong and for me to tell her the right day?!?!? I had to get my birth certificate and fill out more papers.... This all took many hours of work AND nearly 6 months to get straightened out. That is crazy though, it was probably a data entry error years ago; yet you are the one who has to take the time and energy to get it corrected!

My first name is very strange and in college I signed up for a women's gym class... but someone who was too smart for their own good transferred me to a men's class at the same time slot, thinking it was a boy's name. So on the first day I was there to play women's tennis and not on the list; finally tracked it down to a men's golf class... ugh! Since the tennis class was already filled, I did not get a physical education class in that semester and had to fit it in the next semester with a lot of science labs so I was a bit mad at the time. 8|2|That teacher had some nerve!
