My son is having huge problems again with his behavior. Now diagnosed ADHD, Mood Disorder & Impulse Control Disorder.... we had to increase his meds but he's getting even worse! Getting in trouble in school and the after school program again and is really horrible at home!
I have a new appointment set up for Monday with a social worker (she has so many designations, I have no idea what any of them are). She thinks my son might be misdiagnosed. She thinks he may have Aspergers Syndrome instead... so now we'll see what she says. She handles ADHD & another disorders as well. She apparently knows the in's and out's of getting a IEP for him in school, getting Scholarships for private school, etc. if needed. The stuff I haven't been able to do myself because the school apparently doesn't want to do it.
I just want to make sure my son gets the therapy or couseling he needs. I hope I have the strength to get through this. It's just so hard!

first she was diagnosed as HFA, had her retested and she is MR. Always something. I feel for you.
