Hers was pretty in depth and each set of questions had to be answered for each member of the household. She was glad her daughter and grandkids had moved out over a year ago---or it would've taken a VERY long time. Apparently it was bad enough for just the 2 people living there.....AND they've already been approached for more info. (not that they didn't understand what she put down---they wanted even MORE info!)

I rcvd mine yesterday and proceeded to fill it out and figured I'd mail it back in today............ BUT ....................... I noticed as I read that they want information from APRIL 1, 2010 so what happens when people mail them in BEFORE April 2, 2010??????????? Anyone know or have any idea? Seems to me that any information gathered BEFORE APRIL 2, 2010 would/could be considered null and void. KWIM?

To mail them asap. I asked WHY they would record any figures rcvd BEFORE April 2nd and basically got nowhere. I mean, people pass away everyday, people are born everyday and if the numbers are supposed to be calculated FOR April 1st on April 2nd and beyond then what good does it do to have potentually WRONG information gathered ahead of time? I did ask that my concerns as to the instructions and the "reference date" (as they called it) be documented for further evaluation and it "sounded" like it was. (I could hear frantic typing in the background) She stated that they do take suggestions for future Census' so maybe, just maybe, the government will realize that we (the American people) are NOT stupid, that we CAN read and that we CAN follow printed instructions WHEN then are given to us in a correct form and manner. KWIM? So, in the end.......... I will be mailing mine today. :)

I only filled in the pertinent info, i.e., # in household, own/rent, name & age as of 4/1/10. I didn't put in my phone #, birthdate, etc. cuz all they actually REALLY need to know & can legally request is the # in household as of 4/1/10, to tally the population of the community in which you live for grants, funding, etc.
We live in the Land of the Free only because of the Brave!
Please identify yourself in 1st email w/name/username. Due to recent problem trades, if I haven't traded w/you before, I will probably require you send your end 1st or I'll need LEGIT trade references/feedback. I will be happy to provide the same. IF you plan to hold your end til you've received mine, I will need to know that IMMEDIATELY, BEFORE trade is finalized.
