Moderation is better than muscle, self control better than political power.
In the book of Proverbs, we are told that patience is a very good thing. But for most of us, patience can be a very hard thing. After all, we have many things that we want, and we want them NOW! But the Bible tells us that we must learn to wait patiently for the things God has in store for us.
Are you having trouble being patient? If so, remember that patience takes practice, and lots of it, so keep trying. And if you make a mistake, don't be too upset. After all, if you're going to be a really patient person you shouldn't just be patient with others; you should also be patient with yourself.
