KINDNESS STARTS WITH YOU
Galations 6;9
We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time if we do not give up.
Where does kindness start? It starts with you! So if you're waiting for other people to be nice to you before you're nice to them, you've got it backwards. You see, you can never control what other people will say or do, but you can control your own behavior.
The Bible tells us that we should never stop doing good deeds as long as we live. Kindness is God's way, and it should be our way too. Starting now! : )
BIG IDEA FOR KID

kINDNESS EVERY DAY; kindness should be part of our lives every day, not just on the days when we feel good. Don't try to be kind some of the time, and don't try to be kind to some of the people you know. Instead, try to be knd all of the time, and try to be kind to all of the people you know.
If we have the true love of God in our hearts, we will show it in our lives. We will not have to go up and down the earth proclaiming it. We will show it in everything we say or do.

TODAYS PRAYER
Dear Lord, help me to remember that it is always my job to treat others with kindness and respect. Make the Golden Rule my rule, and make your word my guidebook for the way I treat other people.

Had to edit to add:
I am ALWAYS telling daughter one of my "mom-ism's" and that is ONLY YOU can control how you behave. You cannot 'blame' it on someone else. Even if someone is mean to you, it's up to YOU how you react to it. Thank you for printing that and pointing it out. Now she knows it's not just 'mom' saying it. :)
