Last year I used to sometimes get beer upc's from a local establishment, but they quit doing this because it took too much work to save the cartons for me. Since I had extra, I traded some upc's with a person not from my state. Well, yesterday I received a letter from her stating that she had a rebate returned because the UPC was obsolete, according to the Coors company. I had a hard time believing this since I got these upc's last year, less than 6 months ago. So I checked a store and they had the cases of beer with the same upc. Coors must be selling OLD beer in my neck of the woods!! Obviously, the company is lying to this person. I have offered her the address and phone number of the first place I checked, said that I would take a picture and email it to her, and I could give her the money back. However, I can't believe the company could tell her it was an OBSOLETE upc. What else would you do as I don't want her telling other people I am trading old UPC's, not that I even trade them that often?
