A couple of years ago, my DD and I were on our way to the store when a small tornado came into our neighborhood. We hurried back home, and got into the house and our tree lost a big limb that landed on our neighbor's deck.
I would love to go storm chasing :)

Those storm clouds looming over the lake like that look like something out of a horror movie, like in Friday the 13th w/Jason or something. LOL
I love a good storm but don't like the damage they can do. I have 3 HUGE pine trees in my front yard that I'm hoping to get rid of before the summer storms roll in again for the year. They'd smash my house for sure if they fell this way. :( Want to have something a little smaller, & safer, in their place, like maybe a maple or hickory nut. Just a little something to provide some shade yet not so dangerous I have to worry about it looming over my head during a storm. LOL Would love to line the whole front yard w/lilac bushes! :)
