Peanut Butter Easter Eggs
1/4 lb. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 jar peanut butter (you can use chunky if you want peanuts in them)
1/2 jar marshmallow
12 oz. milk chocolate candy melts, milk chocolate coating chocolate, or milk chocolate chips
Mix the butter and cream cheese together. Add the confectioners' sugar and mix well. Add the peanut butter and marshmallow and mix until well-blended. Put the in the fridge to chill for one hour. Form into egg shapes, refrigerate eggs for one hour. Melt the chocolate in a microwave oven or in a double boiler. Using a large toothpick, dip each peanut butter egg in the melted chocolate. Arrange the chocolate coated eggs on a waxed paper lined tray and allow the chocolate to harden.
p.s. keep them refridgerated because of the cream cheese (OK, to have at room temp when serving them)

great recipe for kids and fun. If you melt the chocolate in the microwave kids can dip them without worrying about getting burned. 5|3|Cheyenne loves to try new recipes and wants to be a Chef like Fabio on Top Chef~So I figure I'll let her try and make these :) |RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|17:02:39|03/07/2010|
