we got there at 7 and left just before 11 Mom saw the dr wheile we waited in the waitingroom but that was it he never spoke to me at all I found out from te nurse they were keeping her and had to ask her why when I asked if teh dr was going to come talk to me I was told he was busy So it seems she is dehydrated and when she gets up to move her blood pressure drops they had a name for it but I don't recall it she also told them about her halutiations sp? she has been haveing and how we think it is a side effect of the meds that were increased I will know more when I talk to her doc While we were there they had to change her 4 times I'll let you know as soon as I know more 6|3|Orthostatic hypotension sounds like what was going on....and if she's dehydrated, her meds will be more 'concentrated' in her system thus causing the side effects to be more pronounced....I'd have been ticked too, and you can bet I would have been asking to see the ER director, there's no excuse for the doc not talking to you since your mom was in no shape or frame of mind to discuss her care with her alone.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|09:07:49|02/27/2010|

UTI her reg dr cut back on the parkinsons meds as it was way way to much and we found out her neurologgist sp? has been kicked out of this hospital so her reg dr is going to find her a new one She sounded much better today when we were there but no idea when she will be coming home will keep ya's posted hugs 10|2|Wonderful on the cut back of meds.. that really might help things|Kristy|mi3zons1@yahoo.com|21:44:33|02/28/2010|

Sounds like things are improving. Keeping you all in my prayers. V 12|2|Sounds like she's not drinking enough, pal....the UTI and the concentration of meds in her system could be indicators of that....but I am glad they are cutting her meds back due to the side effects you were telling me about. big mug thing she has of water a day I think I'm going to start adding gatorade to it He was going to send her home today but she has a sore on her behind that needs care so she is going to be moved to the other wing or a couple of days It is none stop here I am still coughing and can hardly tal;k and Gary went today to the dr and he has bronchits sp?
