4 0|0|Is it possible to block a phone number on your cell?|hudge4|hudge95@yahoo.com|21:28:19|02/25/2010|

I almost fell for one of those free trial ads and canceled the transaction before submitting my bank acct info, but they still got my phone numbers.

They have been calling my cell twice a day for the past week, sometimes my home number, too.

Can I block them?

That's something you may want to ask your cell phone provider about but I don't think it's possible.
You can get Selective Call Rejection (or Call Blocking) thru your landline phone company tho & then block up to a certain number of phone numbers from coming thru on your landline phone. There's a small fee to have that feature but I think it's only like $1.50 - $2 a month or something. Once activated, you can either manually program in the # you want to block or wait til that person calls. Then after you've hung up, pick up the receiver again & press #1# on the phone to block the last incoming call, & then hang the receiver back up. When the person who is blocked tries to call you again, they'll likely hear a recording similar to, "The number you have dialed is not accepting calls at this time". When it's telemarketers pestering tho, good luck w/that cuz they use so darn many different #'s/lines to call from. :(
HTH. :)

Call in to customer service and explain you need a number blocked and why. I have done it (AT&T/Cingular) and it didn't cost me anything.
