Back in the day, when I was 19 & still a "brave" know-it-all teenager, I went w/some friends to Great America in IL. Stupid me went on the Eagle & the Loop the Loop roller coasters. An experience I doubt I'll ever repeat. LOL OMG! The drop on that Eagle was SOOO unGodly far down I still shudder just remembering. :(
I kept my head down the entire time except for looking up once, which just so happened to be in between loops on the Loop the Loop. Seen that 2nd loop coming & back down I went. My friends thought for sure I was going to puke or pass out cuz I guess my face was white as a sheet. I greatfully got off the roller coasters & kissed the ground but I couldn't see a thing but my own smeared fingerprints on my eye glasses from trying to keep them on. LOLOL
I HATE rides like the Ferris Wheel or the Round-Up, that go way up, cuz I'm not overly fond of heights, but I could stay on the Tilt-A-Whirl or Scrambler all day as I love the spinning. LOL
We live in the Land of the Free only because of the Brave!
