Haley has one eye that is red...and she says it hurts..she says it feels like her eye is pulling..
I just gave her some motrin and sending her to bed..i've tried to do some research...but theres
so many things? anyone have any thoughts? She wears glasses and wears them regularly..so I don't
think it's that.. maybe allergies?

Wait and see if it's bothering her tomorrow. My sister had itchy eyes and swore she had pink eye. I asked if her eyes were gunky in the morning and she said no. I told her um not pink eye then. She went to the dr's not believing and it was just allergies. They had to give her drops. Wait and see how Haley's eyes are in the morning. If they are gunky more likely to be pink eye.

pink eye does hurt when you touch it and it does feel like pulling. The gunk will develop over night so you can check her. Also if she does have pink eye take her to the dr. They now have super intense drops to take care of it...I forgot what's it called...but a couple of years ago my son had it prescribed to him and he only had to use it twice a day. And after day 1 1/2 it was gone. Unlike the other meds where I would have to put it in his eyes 6 times a day so annoying..he hated it. And it lasted a lot lnger. The faster it's gone the better since it is SOOO contagious. 4|2|if there is gooy stuff in the eye and it is hurting keep her out of school and get to your family doc fast, if it is pink eye she can spread it to others in her class and also do not use the same wash clothes, towels and no make up|MyCat|mazashatat11@hotmail.com|00:27:03|02/25/2010|

I gave her motrin last night, when she got up this morning it's still a little red in the
corner...she said it didn't itch, but she said it hurt and it felt like her eyeball was "pulling"..
the kid never misses school, I tried to get her to stay home, but she didn't want too..SOO I guess
I'll wait to see when she gets home and go from there. Thanks everyone for the comments and concern,

she may just need more moisure in her eyes 8|2|glade she is feeling a litte bit better.. as a pharmacist Do Not put any eye drops or any otc right now into the eyes untill she is checked out by your family doctor, some do more harm then good, please go have it looked at .. can be anything from pink eye to allergies to an infection or just a scratched eye from rubbing it|MyCat|mazashatat11@hotmail.com|14:59:04|02/25/2010|
