You know that we haven't had insurance in about a year and a half or longer, so it was great for Will to finally be able to be seen by a dr. His Medicare kicked in on the 1st. I've been so stressed about the nasty cancer and hoping it hasn't spread and is still quiet. The dr. is sending him to the hospital next week for CT Scans (they should do a petscan, it's more accurate) and then he said they will go from there. Plus they did blood work today and also will be referring him to an oncologist and pulmonary dr. He's finally back on his high blood pressure meds too. The Dr. said the hernias will have to wait for now, they want to find out where he is with his cancer and hope it hasn't spread. I was hoping they could do the hernias too, cause they make him so sick and hurt really bad. Oh well I am just grateful we've got the ball rolling, Will says he feels guilty cause he gets to go to he dr. and I can't right now, I told him don't feel that way, things will work out. He also will be getting new glasses, he saw the eye dr. the other day. I am still so nervous about the test and all, but am grateful he was finally seen. Please pray for him. i know sort of what u going thru we had a long month of jan here with differnt test every day and seeing if he could be ready for suregery or not
and he hasn't had health insurence for 17+ years and his medicare also kicked in dec-09 so started with all the test in jan sure glad for that
some of the bills are outragious
