We still have thick, hard ice under the snow from the rain & freezing rain we got weeks ago. Been salting & chopping up the ying yang w/out much progress, & the snow on top of it just makes it harder to see & avoid. :(

They got put up in a hotel over night in Dallas and then bused to OK. Just wondering if its gonna be the same for his return trip?? Honestly, I find it a bit funny. All these Southern boys and girls had to go up North then out West, they have never seen this much snow! LOL I sooo miss the snow!!

the 12th, he'll be fine even if we get the 6-12" predicted, if he is flying out of Newark. North Jersey is very quick on snow removal, we are used to it and haven't been hit like South Jersey, our guys up here are dying to do some plowing, LOL.

Well, another winter snowstorm has hit central and northern Arkansas, and it is so beautiful! Here in Greenbrier, we received 8-inches of the heavy white stuff...great for snowmen and snowballs. No ice this time, thankfully, except that the roads will be skating rinks by dawn, as the temps fall into the mid-20s. This is the second snow event to hit this area this year. The weather forecast is even calling for yet another snow event to hit us Thursday evening and into Friday. This storm, too, will be heading right for the mid-Atlantic and NE states...so look out!

It took me about 40 minutes to get through to jetBlue customer service. My agent was one of many who work from home; she said those working out of the call center were getting massage breaks to deal with the stress--both from frantic passengers and an overloaded computer system. This week will pay for my agent's Christmas as she has lots of overtime.
