Some times it is better than others. I don't know. I have been selling for about 3 years now. It makes me good money. I get most of my stuff at yard sales, thrift stores, etc. and resell. I have a full time job though and do not do this for anything other than extra money. My job pays my bills. This give me extra money. I don't think I could do it in place of another job. I cannot make that much money. I don't think their fees have changed too much in the last year. Sure it is kind of high but where else can you buy something for a dollar or 2 and resell for 10 plus. I call that profit. Even if ebay charge fees it just means you make $8 instead of $10 or whatever. Good luck with it.

I have definitely noticed that the ending price of auctions is not nearly as good as it was a year or so ago. Something that would have sold for $70 a year ago might go for $40 or $50 now.

It really goes in spurts too. I won't sell anything for a week and then on the weekend have 6 sales in one day. There's been talk by sellers that ebays servers can't handle all the auctions at one time, so they secretly do rolling "blackouts".

What kinds of things do you sell countrygirl? Some do better than others in this economy.

Good luck!
