I went by the Dollar General and bought the last four boxes of Electrasol that they had and used my $2.50 q's. No problems there. So I go to the Family Dollar and get 6 of the 12 boxes they had left, figured I would be nice and not empty the shelf, ya know?? lol Anyway, I get to the register, the boy rings me up, uses my q's and tells me the total. Well, another cashier (possibly Mgr?) tells him he cant do that. That its only one coupon per purchase. So I say, yes and I am purchasing 6 boxes. She said thats not what it means when it says one per purchase, it really means one per sale and that is what their coupon policy is. Then she tells the boy, as she is voiding my purchase, that it would cause a red flag, and they would send a letter with his name on it about it being a bad transaction. She then tells me that she would let me buy all of them and use my q's but they would have to ring each up as a seperate transaction. I was like ok lets do it. I think she was trying to embarass me, sorry, not gonna happen. Anyone know what Family Dollar's Coupon Policy is? Was I wrong or was she? Thanks for lettin me vent!

Multiple coupons may be used within one transaction. There is a limit of two coupons
per item. You may use one Family Dollar coupon along with one Manufacturer’s
coupon for the same item, as long as neither coupon states that it is not valid with
other coupons.

The store needs someone from Corp. to set them straight. My FD tried that one time and then I whipped out their coupon policy. That still didn't work so "we" called Corp. from my cell phone and now I have no issues and I don't think anyone else that shops in that store does either. The mgr is really nice about coupons now, she really just didn't know any better and was trying to protect her job.
