This is for your info. I knew some of the provisions in this bill, but not all of it. This is FASCIST period. This isn't just all about health-care, but our govt. bureaucrats want to know and have access to all your finances, your bank accounts, personal records, etc., how much money you're allowed to have. Health-care rationing, they will tell doctors what to do with your care, including death! Govt. will decide what treatment & benefits you'll receive. National I.D. health card will be issued. You have no choice! Health-care will be provided for all non-US citizens, illegal or otherwise - we have to pay. Govt. will use groups such as (corrupt) ACORN to sign up for this plan. If you do not have acceptable health care plan according to Govt., you will be taxed 2.5%. Govt. will reduce doctors services for Medicaid, seriously affecting the seniors, poor and low income folks. Govt. will tell doctors what and how much they can own, plus many more as you view the video. Of course the insurance companies are involved in planning this bill.
Although this plan has been delayed at this time, I hope it never passes. Doctors by the thousands will leave the US. The govt. has no right to get involved in our health care period. This is socialized health-care and people need to realize this is not good. Look at Europe, especially Britain, Canada, and how long it takes to get medical attention, including waiting months for an operation! Many people have died waiting. Pass this along to your family and friends.
Note: I remember as a child, going to the doctor for treatment, cost $10-$15 per visit paid in cash, plus my parents had catastrophic health care plan. This is what we need to go back to.

I have a child that is high functional Autistic with Adhd - he see a phys alot and is on meds. When he is on his meds he can focus. He is really smart -he got into a magnet school this school yr. The last thing I want is the gov. coming in telling me he can't see a dr and stay on these meds that help him function -- school was a nightmare without these interventions...after the meds calmed him down we got to see how smart he was-- he can do 3number additon in his head example - 482+364 why should the gov get a say so in my sons help care.

I'm scared if this obamacare goes into effect - he won't get the attention he needs -or meds etc. This will hurt him in school etc.
We pay out of pocket now for a private plan - yes its expensive but I'll pay it- i want the choice of dr's.
I've actually talked to my OB about it and he said he would have to go into a private cash practice (he still owes money to medical school)- so thats what it would come down to Obama care for the pour and middle class with doctors that don't have much training - and the rich will have there own personally hosp-etc the doctors that went to good medical schools and have to pay for it. -- (which dr would you want cutting on you?)

Our country is in a deep recession NOT because of any one thing that Democrats or Republicans have done. Both political parties have allowed this to happen, over time. Every time an economic crisis has arisen, the politicians always swept it under the rug...so nothing was done. We have known about the healthcare problems, social security problems, banking problems, etc. for YEARS...but nobody wanted to do what was required at the time to correct them. President Clinton's wife tried to start the ball rolling on healthcare reform, but she was all but laughed out of the White House. Did the GOP offer a reasonable alternative? Any alternative at all? I think not. Rising gas prices is not the fault of the Obama administration. The United States should have started enacting clean-energy alternatives and alternatives to foreign oil many years ago (since the Arab oil embargo in the 1970s). But no...! Can't do that, said the Big Oil Companies.
President Clinton enacted several environmental laws, which were overturned when Dubya took office. In fact, it's the GOP which has systematically done all it could to stop environmental laws, clean water regulations, designation of land as national parks, pushed for drilling in the Arctic regions of Alaska, wanted installation of oil rigs off all our coastal waters, etc. It was Dubya who ignored the facts of global warming and snubbed his nose at the Kyoto Treaty on Global Warming...which every other civilized nation signed except for the United States.
The middle class of this country is being destroyed by the GOP. The Democrats, for their part, are trying to save the middle class. Sure, higher taxes are called for. But we are at the point where raising taxes is the only way to enact the changes necessary to help the American people. State governments have been cutting their budgets for years, because the GOP-led federal government has insisted on it, by cutting off more money to the states. How long can state governments continue to cut back on vital social and health programs? Many organizations and agencies are scraping bare bones now, trying to meet annual budgets. Taxes will have to be raised...and the Democrats are focusing on wealthy Americans and big business.
The American people need healthcare NOW...not later. Not years down the road. President Obama and his administration has done more than anything the GOP has come up with, to try to enact major healthcare reform. The Democrats are trying to include as many Americans as possible in being able to afford/obtain healthcare. Their plan is not perfect, no. HOwever, at least they are trying...and healthcare for millions of people who currently do not have any -- is far better than nobody having it at all.
God forbid that conservatives lose their Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. These bastions of "socialism" are as much a part of the American way of life than anything else. Overall, these social programs have helped millions upon millions of people...rich or poor; conservative or liberal. The GOP seems to ignore this.

I see a lot of people who are against current legislation perfectly happy to use these programs--why should the vast number of working uninsured have to wait until they're 65?

Why should I have to pay so some lazy SOB who is too sorry to even try to get a job so they can have it for free?? I have absolutely no problem helping people who seriously need it. The old (come one 90% of them have worked their whole lives and deserve it), the handicapped and the poor who WORK and TRY to make something out of their lives but just cant seem to get to that next level. But so many people out there have this notition that "Why should I have to work, the Govt will take care of me for me." or "For x reason, Im entitled to have everything done for me". I hear it all the time down here where I live. "I need to have another baby so my check keeps coming" "I need to go get evaluated for a crazy check cause I need a new car" 75% of the people in the county I live in are on Federal/State assistance with many of them not even TRYING to get off of it cause gee why should they? They get a FREE house, FREE utilities, FREE groceries yet they drive Cadillacs and Lincolns, and not the old ones either. If they were to make these people get off their lazy butts and work and help the economy, our economy wouldnt be near as bad as it is. And yes, there are jobs available, they may not be glamorous, they might be fast food or gas station jobs, but they are jobs. And dont even get me started on payin for the illegal aliens situation, there are rules and regulations on how everyone is supposed to be go into ANY country and our country needs to step up and enforce its own laws.
On top of that, our "Govt" officals make too much money and get too good of benifits for the little they do for the average American. If you read into history and the way our Govt was supposed to have been set up, Congressmen/Statesmen were not supposed to be full time jobs, it was something where for x number of days they would congregate, decide the laws that the PEOPLE want, do the other Govt duties, and then go home to their regular jobs. But, because of lack of represantation to the American people, who put these people in office, the spending and they payouts have gotten outrageous, making our economy even worse. You want to improve the economy?? Start at the top where most of your problems are, the Govt, and then work your way done thru all the corrupt programs that they have established and then continue on from there.
I am now stepping off my soapbox, these are my opionions, expressed soley by me. If they offend you, I apoligize in advance but as an American it is my right, fought for by my father and husband and all my other relatives who have served this great nation in the Military.
