I txted back and forth with her this morning. She's eating and using the facilities on her own. I know rather TMI but it's a huge step after surgery as many of you might know! Her hubby sent her a picture of their two dogs on their bed saying they missed mommy. I told her by the time she gets back to her own bed the dogs won't let her have ANY space. They don't let her have much now as it is lol.

I just have cats and one who likes to sleep by my head (on my pillow thank you!), but you add DH and an often climbing into bed with me, Miss G and there are space issues aplenty!

did not realize all that it entailed surgery wise...seems they start the operation with me face up, another surgeon waiting for me to be flipped...then they flip me and the first surgeon gets a break....and when the second is done, the first comes back to me...
i got kicked out for good behavior.....got to come home and sleep in my bed which is a pleasure...had to switch sides with my hubby due to the 4 drains in me...that way the dogs do not snuggle up to em...
