We took Matthew to the Ortho dr. yesterday, cause his primary care dr. was concerned about the broken pinky and how the bone was lodging with the joint. Well apparently the Ortho isn't concerned, in fact, he's kinda arrogant. Anyways all he did was look at his xray and wrap Matthew's pinky for a $30 co-payment. I could've wrapped the darn thing myself. It really pissed me off. Plus he wants to see him again next week, so he can check the pinky and xray it. Sorry had to vent. I've spent over $100 this week just for that pinky...LOL...Not good for our budget at all...Hugs, Rebekka

we have a ortho around here that is arrogant and only after insurance money
that is why we went to another town for a good doc

I'm telling you I about went through the roof when he called me & told me what it was going to cost. Since it was his front tooth, felt like it had to be done, so told him to go ahead & I'd pay for it but no crown. No wonder people let their teeth go bad, who can afford this. Of course they never tell you up front what it's going to cost but they always want full payment when you find out. Guess we'll be searching for another dentist, this one is out of hand.

6|4|Yeah for that price it should be, well did you see on the news about the dental company (trying to think of the name) that was bilking the government and insurance companies out of money by doing procedures on kids that didn't need anything done but cleaning? and the dentist put a crown on kevin's tooth with out even asking me
and i told them i wasn't paying for it
so insurance and medicaid paid for it i guess cuz i never got billed for it
