I forgot all about it, but we were at another protest earlier today (this one today was trying to get folks to vote for a local measure) and someone commented on how young she was and I was telling them she has been to quite a few, which then got me thinking and trying to remember what was one of the first ones she went to. This was when she was just a year old and they closed the public library here. If you scan down you'll see a photo of a police office with a bunch of kids. G is the baby in the picture and my middle daughter is the blonde haired girl holding her hand. The AP picked it up and they ran it in several big newspapers back then. There was also some textbook someone back east wrote that used that photo to teach civil disobedience. LOL!
Libraries are open again, thankfully!
