My issue with the election is the Democrat running and the expectation that she ( who has never impressed me) would walk into the seat because of her political party. The Republican candidate has gone all out in what WAS expected to be a lost cause. I do have to fault the RNC for NOT sending him help and are only now shaking their collective heads in wonder that the guy has picked up so much momentum. For those who may not know, he is a state senator and is the father of Ayla Brown from American Idol.

Just saw his "picture" on my TV news report - a two-page "spread" of ALL of him except a little bubble over his middle section.
We live in the Bible Belt and believe me, he would not have gotten elected here. So much for family values. If it was a woman, they would have been all over her "past" and she would not have been elected here either.

I think whats more important than what someone did in their past is what they will do in the future, if they will keep their word and be FOR the people not for the Goverment and if he is able and willing to do that, more power to him.
