i have a friend that lived in apartments over in the next town
there were 40 people that lived in this government low income apartment complex
this weekend the place caught fire
10 apartments were total loss nothing left of them at all
a lady says she is responsible she was smoking a cigarette that used oxygen and fell asleep
but that is as far as i know about that
i heard the news today about the apartment fire and i was all in wonder about my friend
so i called her tonite
she didn't know a thing about the fire until they called her from the apartment building
she was staying elsewhere cuz she had had surgery so she is OK
all the people there were ok one lady went to the hospital
she said when she went back today she was expecting nothing to be left of her apartment
well gratefully her apartment had the firewall that stopped the fire from going further down the hall way
she had a little bit of water in her place but that can dry
she asked a worker to open the door right in the hall way that was part of the firewall and there was nothing left of the rest of the hall way
just cement and black charred stuff
the fire stopped at the other firewall but of course some water damage to other places but that was it
i am just glad that she wasn't there and that she answered her cell phone this evening
i have had enuff excitement for the last month with the murder next door to me and now this fire thing and hubby out of work
