Ok..
so we went out for pizza tonight..
me, john,haley and his son andrew
we get 1 small pizza for haley, pep & cheese
for us..we got the large with 1/2 everything no mushrooms, green peppers, 1/2 everything no onions
everyone had water, except me..i get iced tea
she brings our water for everyone..i ask about my tea..she says oh yeah..I'll go get it...
so we get haley's pizza... it has pep/cheese/onions...
we get ours... half pep/cheese other half everything.
still no iced tea either....
we waited for 25 minutes for these...so even though we are griping to ourselves..we start eating..
manager comes out..asks how's everything...and we all say.. "not good" it was really funny..
so he's like..the waitress will be back out to take your order again..just eat whatever you want.. blah blah blah
so she comes out again... we tell her again..and I'm like...can I get my iced tea soon?
SO NO lie... after 15 minutes.. 2 more pizza's come out..and OMG they are the exact same way.. we all start laughing..
AND before we could even say something to her..she was gone...I was like..I don't think these...UH hello..she's gone..
I guess we weren't in the mood for griping..but we were just picking off what we didn't want...whatever..
so here comes the manager again..and he's like clapping his hands..and says'... "are we happy now" and we all laugh..and say NO
and he says what... So I say... You know..I know alot of waitresses are good.. BUT sometimes they should actually write down the orders,
i didn't think ours was too difficult...I mean the one just had pep/cheese... AND then..I say.. AND then..I've asked for iced tea twice and it's
now been almost an hour...and I'm still without tea...he apologized... And said everything was on the house... blah blah blah...we thanked him
and told him..we were all starving so we just made do with what we had. It was actually funny...I guess we were all in a good mood.
SO the manager finally brings me a glass of iced tea after the whole hour that we had been there.. BUT this is kinda funny... SO
as we are about done.. the waitress comes back and asks if we would like a box..and we are like yes, please. Then she brings back the bill..
and the pizzas are on there...then minused out... AND Then the only charge was my iced tea...it was funny. SO she comes back..and I"m
like..I really shouldn't gripe..because we got all of this food for free... BUT if I would have gotten my tea an hour ago..I wouldn't have mind
paying the $2.49 for the tea... But since i got it 5 minutes before we were leaving..it doesn't seem right to pay the $2.49. Of course, my hubby
and haley were rolling their eyes and .laughing.. BUT I just couldn't believe she was charging me for the iced tea... I'm thinking she just did that
so she would have a receipt to get the tip?? I don't know...
I'm not really sure why I'm sharing all of this..it was just a funny situation.. because..I just couldn't believe she brought the complete same
order that was wrong the first time!! AND I hate, hate water.. BUT tonight I HAD to drink it or I was going to choke on the pizza!!

wow..one thing I found out that I didnt know was the servers had to pay for the meals ordered....so if someone walked out or if they wrote the order down wrong the food still had to be paid for by them...(found this out when a waitress chased a couple for walking out on their bill).....if that was the case where you guys were eating, she was probably trying to lessen what she had to put out of her pocket..but sheesh...she got the order wrong twice and never even bought out the tea...you should have got a gc for your next visit too...lol 2|1|Funny! ETA: But given the missing iced tea and Shelly had said the waitress didnt write the order down as they gave it to her....so I guess the fault would be hers in this case. :)

it was so funny. went to an Inn on a chilly day. they sat us in a room by ourselves with a firplace. so pretty. kids were with us. waiter took our order and I tho9ught he was a little tipsy but wasnt sure and didnt say anything. No lie..he repeatedly came back to us, saying it was the kitchen and the new comouter system that lost our order, mixed things up, etc.. The kids were like "Mom??" we laughed and just kept repeating ouor order like nothing was wrong

and found it incorrect, HE should have taken the order right then and there. He also should have gotten your iced tea. That's exactly what I do and if for some reason I am somewhere else and the owner of our restaurant is on the floor, that's what he would do.
Your family sounds like you are very, very easy to wait on! : ) If you are ever in NJ, come on over and have one of Teener's favorite meals and you can meet my cute boss!! LOL!
