We have more traps set and until this cold weather leaves I know there will be
more visitors.
There was an article in the daily paper today saying the cold weather was causing animal
invasion in people's home and I beleive it.

They're dark gray w/short tails & just a tad bigger than a mouse so kind of a cross between a mouse & a hamster. And excuse my language but they're a persistent pita. LOL
Because I have a farm/pasture behind me & a hayfield across the road in front of me, it's prime territory for the pesky little buggers. Come spring, I's got work to do cuz they have a tunnel from the ground next to the back of my garage that goes all the way under my garage & comes out at the front of my garage floor, along w/a couple of "entrances" via cracks in the concrete inside the garage. What I do NOT want is for them to get in my vehicle lest they wreak havoc w/the wiring, etc. :(

we used to have this little space off the porch that the other owners keep their fuel oil tank in and when we switched to gas I used it for storage. I keep a garbage can in it with cat food. I was on the porch one day and kept hearing a funny squeaky sound coming from there so got to looking around someone must have left the lid off and there were 2 very fat mice in the can jumping up and down trying to get out. they looked like cartoon characters I didn't have the heart to kill them I took them down the road a piece by the creek and let them go they both jumped out jumped in the creek and swam across at a very good pace for 2 fat little mice Linda
