The down side of it is you do have to pay taxes on your winnings. So best thing is to make sure when you enter it is something you really want!

on small odd and end wins.......u dont have to pay tax...........you only pay taxes if its over a certain amount....and then u gotta sign a affidavit...stuff like cars,trips,ect..u do pay taxes.........as someone said......only enter if its something u would have a use for......ive won odd and end stuff......but some people have won cash...up in the thousands...gift cards,ect....

I enter most online sweeps through OLS (www.online-sweepstakes.com) and SA (Sweepstakesadvantage.com). Over the past three years I have won a bunch of items, including a Char-Broil gas grill ($328); a Sharp AQUOS LCD flat-screen, 46" HDTV; $10,000 cash; and most recently...an iRobot Roomba. You have to be persistant and enter regularly...or you may as well not bother. It takes patience and time on the computer. 9|1|Cool! It's not much, but I entered one for a Bakugan DVD that my son would like and I won. I must have entered 200 -300 sweeps that weekend It's not much, but how cool!
