I just didn't get to spend as much time with the kids this Christmas as I would have liked, and they're at the perfect Christmas age - 7 and 9. I wish we had another week so I could kick back and have fun with them.

A lot of it is because gracie has been sick for the last 4-5 days and is not sleeping much and I am just worn out, but I will not miss the other kids staying up past midnight and sleeping until noon and dirtying 51 dishes a day. Mine don't eat us out of house and home, they are dainty eaters but they graze and for each snack they need more dishes and I am the dishwasher. I am looking forward to that going back to normal again.
Miss G is on an antibiotic which is not working so she may be heading back to the clinic monday or tuesday again. She will be screaming too-- she is not an easy kid to do anything with. I wish she would be mending faster. I miss sleeping, shopping and I am so so sick of listening to Scooby Doo at 4 am.
