26 0|0|Why did no one ever tell me about Pur water filters!?!?! They work sooooo well! My town's water is pretty icky, smells kinda stale and tastes about as bad....with the Pur filter (I got the refrig dispenser) it comes out tasting like premium bottled water, like Fuji or something....I am so excited to never have to buy bottled water again! WOO HOO! :) (I know this sounds like a commercial, but I've been trying different filter systems over the past couple yrs and nothing else worked on our yukky water, so I'm kinda excited, lol)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|19:42:03|12/31/2009|

If you dont have a dirt cheap its literally a dirt cheap store that gets a lot of its inventory from close out/clearance stuff from larger stores like Walmart. Items are generally 50-90% off orginal MSRP. Our store is really junky and you really need time to look, thankfully we found this quickly cause Dh wanted to go home. lol

We live in the country and have a well. (nothing but problems with it from the get go-the pump has been replaced 3 times, and we've been without water for about a month during each time cuz we have to save for the cost of the pump, then hubby places it back in the well) and had the water tested for free from a local company trying to get more business. They called and said our water had bacteria in it (they told me the names but I didn't write down so cannot remember-this was while I was doing chemo) and it would cost us $5700.00 for them to place a whole house filtration system. I explained that we were $6000 behind in house payments so no chance at getting that fixed and haven't heard from them since LOL. We buy bottled water but it would be nice to not have to.

I'm not sure which one....just start with the county -0000 number. Tell them exactly what you typed here. All well-water has some bacteria in it. It just may not be harmful type.
