Well the opportunity has come... tomorrow night..john and I plan on going out of town and
staying at a hotel for New Years Eve... YEP...We are going to Wheeling Downs, in Wheeling, WV.
We will then stay at the Holiday Inn for New Years...I'm so excited. : ) I have mixed emotions,
I don't want to leave my family...BUT I also want to have a special New years with John..So...BUT
I'm sure it will all work out... I finally broke the news to haley about an hour ago...LOL Why do I feel
like the one that is 13??? I was like..uh haley..Uh.. tomorrow night..is new years eve..and uh..and she's
like yeah? I'm like..well since aunt kimmy and everyone will be here me and john are going out and then
talking really, really fast..i say..we are staying overnight at a hotel...And she's like hmmm REALLY? LOL
it was funny.... But she just kept looking at me.....SO if we don't get snowed in tomorrow that's the plan...
I felt like I had just told my mom I got a D on my report card and waiting for her response. SIGH...it's tough
being a mom....LOL

these ups and downs get to me... we went out..we had a good time,
pretty much..I was pretty sick..I coughed and coughed and coughed...
we had a really nice hotel room with jacuzzi so the night was good..
the snow was horrible on the way home but we made it ok.. THEN new years
day my dad started not feeling good..so my sister took him to the ER and they
kept him...and he's still here...and probably will be there until tomorrow
for sure...AND i'm upset..because we leave early tuesday morning..4 AM...
so we might have to get a hotel close to the airport tomorrow night because
i dont' want my sister driving us at 3 am and driving back...especially with
how cold and snowy it is..so i have alot of my mind right now...AND I don't want
to go home is the main thing... my dad just called me and i just trembled as i talked
to him...he's like "I'm ok, they are just checking things out, and you don't have to come in.
(I've been so sick with this dumb cold and coughing like crazy) and he's like..I"ll see
you before you leave...so i'm like blah blah blah..and i can't stop crying...
did you really ask about all of this. ? : ) I'm always such an emotional wreck...
i'm trying to remain calm..cleaning my parents house....but it's not working. we've been
pretty much snowed in the whole time we've been here..i think i've only been off there hill
4 or 5 times...so it's not been good. But the good news is I think i've lost 4 or 5 lbs..LOL
