What do you think about this trade
I got a emaill that some one wanted a item in a email I then send them a email with address and turn the computer off . Go to town for something and mail the trade Then the next moring turn on the email and has another email did not want after all . I t told her I sent it allready. She says she does not want itand will not pay for them or send back. I said send back with a stamp or the money and the stamp or I wsould have to report her. Shew then says I will report you for not reading your emails because she said she did not want them 2 monutes between but remember after her first email I turned off the computer. Em I right or wrong by wantoing them back or the $ for the trade.

ask the trader to return the unopened letter
the trader can print on the front "refused"
and drop it right back into the mail system

You were sent an email wanting and item with their address included, you sent your address and turned off the computer. OK...did the other person know what you wanted for the item when they wrote you initially? Was the price agreed on or did they send an email saying they wanted something you had on the board (including an address) and the email you sent back with your addy included the price? or was it in your post? The only thing I can think of is it if went this way:
"I saw you had XYZ on the board and I wanted it! Lmk what you want for it. (address included)"
"Sure, I wanted $12345 for it, sending now, here is my address to send payment"

other person sends email within 2-3 minutes they can't pay that for it...and wants to cancel the trade.
IF THIS was the scenario then I would say she should send back and you should lose the stamp. I don't know this is the situation...just trying to figure out why someone would back out of a trade within minutes.

I've had trades I've changed my mind on, but realized I had made a commitment so I just followed through with the trade to honor my commitment....with this said.....I think both of you are somehow going to loose out on this trade...in the case of the other trader, you probably will not trade with him/her again and most likely will leave them feedback to this affect....on your side....you will most likely loose out on the postage (and I'm guessing it's .44) and though unfair to loose out on the stamp...it is only one stamp and in my opinion not really worth all the hassle of who should do what, etc....I think the other trader should refuse the envelope so that you will not be out your trade....
That's just my opinion....and only my opinion...it's okay if someone doesn't agree with....just posting what I would do. 10|1|Just something to keep in mind (along the lines of what Barb was asking)....many, many traders have their name and addy info in their emails as a signature....I dont take someone sending me their naz info as a finalization of a trade for that reason. All the basic communication has to be there, with each party agreeing to the conditions of the trade, in writing..such as "I want xx for those coupons" and the other person saying "Yes, that is fine, I'll send via mail/pp/etc"....|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|14:12:20|01/01/2010|

stamp is pretty small in the whole issue of trading. As far as feedback, I would have a problem with anybody leaving negative feedback if she herself doesn't have a feedback thread. As I said, nobody is perfect and we all have had issues that were not to our total satisfaction.

15|2|I think it is just ironic that she wants to leave someone bad feedback over a misunderstanding yet she doesn't open herself up to a feedback link. I do TONS of trades...and don't squabble over a stamp. Especially if the other person is sending them back. I WISH the other person was posting....SOMETHING happened in 2 minutes to make them change their mind.
